That brings me to Full Throttle for Dom and Cherry's story. I've loved every couple in the series, but this one quickly became my favorite. Dom is an absolute sweetie in a sexy-as-sin package, and the things he says to Cherry are positively swoon-worthy. It takes Cherry a little longer to get on board with the whole romance thing, but only a little. Dom is a man who knows what he wants and goes after it... Well, he goes after it Full Throttle. We do get a twist or two along the way, but there's a magnetism between Dom and Cherry that nothing can break.
To sum it up, the Reynolds Restorations series is a found family of down-to-earth, blue-collar characters that you can't get enough of. It's full of everything I've come to expect from Melanie Moreland, and I can't wait to see what she does next.
If you've ever had the pleasure of listening to Maxine Mitchell and John Lane, you already know how talented they are. They've applied that talent to Full Throttle, and it's so good! They are Cherry and Dom, and that's what they'll sound like in my head from now on. This one is a combination of great writing and great performances, and together, they're pretty hard to beat.

OH MY DOM!
Seriously….Dominic Salvatore! He just tiptoed by Richard VanRyan in my heart. I’m sorry Richard…I’m a Dom girl now!
When Dom was introduced to Cherry Gallagher…he was smitten, no he knew she was his, now all he has to do is convince Cherry he was right.
And ohhh boy…does he have to work at convincing her! These two are like flames when they are together…there were parts where I was fanning myself…oh the heat, the steam, the dirty talking….hold on I’m fanning myself again.

As much as Cherry feels she has baggage, when she finally convinces Dom to share what was making him so sad, I lost it! Yes, I cried…I had no idea that these two were going to make me cry…but Melanie Moreland and Dom knew where to hit my feels and boy did it bring back memories for me.
So, when Dom needed some outside help, Cherry came to his rescue yet a second time. Not only did she rescue you from his loneliness, she helped him get the help and support for the problem he needed to solve once and for all. She brought him the exact right person who promised he could help Dom.
I laughed, I cried, I shouted…”I knew that was who could help” and then I cheered for everyone who got involved. The folks at Reynold’s Restoration proved just how much a found family can make you feel like the luckiest person in the world.
The best part though, this isn’t the end, but a see you again soon; as they are always there when you need them, just like these books are always there when we need that visit to Littleburn, to have pie with Charly and Maxx and see how the children are growing and spend more time with the entire Reynolds Restoration Family.

Dom Salvatore is in his late 40's and now works for Maxx and Charley at their garage as a mechanic. He has a tragic family background filled with pain that he has not shared with anyone, but has found a family with his co-workers at Reynolds he never thought he would have. Dom comes across as a bit of a player - tattoos, leather jacket, swagger and a dirty mouth - but he is always there for his friends / new family and would do anything for them, which includes helping his friend Chase when he needs help doing up his house when Hannah, his new roommate (and soon to be girlfriend) moves in. This is where he meets Cherry G.
Cherry G is Hannah's mum - she had Hannah when she was just 18, her husband died while Hannah was still young and she has toiled hard to make sure Hannah has everything she needed growing up, dabbling a little in relationships but always getting burned, she is resigned to living on her own. She works as a hair stylist in Toronto, which she is finding harder to do as she gets older, but is still fiercely independent.
Dom is a gonner for Cherry as soon as they meet, knowing she is it for him, and is determined to make Cherry see what he has to offer her. Cherry is having none of it and tries her best to keep him at arms length, scared of getting burned yet again, but Dom proves too irresistible, and when these two eventually get together, well just stand back and watch the world explode! Talk about fireworks between these two!!
Dom ends up sharing his past with Cherry, who is there for him and tries her best to help sort the situation, involving a lawyer friend of hers from her salon, which sets about changing the whole world for Dom in ways he never thought would be possible.
A fantastic story from start to finish, loved seeing all the other characters from Reynolds in this as well. A superb end to a fabulous series, looking forward to what Melanie has to offer next.
