TV crime cinematographer in 1970's; & NASA retiree San Francisco Bay Area, CaliforniaIn December 2022, John G. Bluck, a mystery/thriller author, signed a seven-year contract with Wolfpack Publishing doing business as Rough Edges Press.
Rough Edges Press publishes Bluck's five-book Luke Ryder series--"Death in the Holler," July 4, 2023; "Murder at NASA," July 25, 2023; "Mayhem at Sea," Aug.15, 2023; "Pigeons of Death," May 28, 2024; and "Headless in London," Feb. 18, 2025.
Bluck retired from NASA in 2008 as a public affairs officer. Earlier, he was a broadcast engineer at WMAL-AM/FM radio in Washington, D.C. Before that he worked as a cameraman for WMAL-TV (now WJLA-TV) covering crime, sports, and politics, including Watergate. He was an Army journalist at Ft. Lewis, Washington, during the Vietnam War.
