Voices of the Valley: Word for Word, the California Writers Club Tri-Valley Branch's third anthology, presents an abundant harvest of short stories, poems, memoirs, and essays from its members. This collection features rousing adventures, discoveries and losses, alternate realities and viewpoints, and above all, creativity and imagination. This volume also proudly presents three talented teenagers' prize-winning works from the branch's 4th annual high school writing contest. The California Writers Club Tri-Valley Branch is a professional organization dedicated to the development and support of writers. It provides knowledge and opportunities to its members and local writers through its meetings, workshops, critique groups, newsletters, and bi-annual conferences and anthologies.
