Voices of the Valley: Through the Window is the fifth anthology of the California Writers Club Tri-Valley Branch. It seems fitting to recognize the experience we are all going through as a result to the pandemic COVID-19 thrust into our lives this year. Through the Window gives us a picture of the way many of us have been required to visit our loved ones in the year 2020. There are a host of stories, memoirs and poems in this volume. Some of them center around the pandemic. Many are stories that provide us with a place to go where we can escape the many stresses of this time. We invite you to linger for awhile, getting lost in our pages. There is plenty to entertain and much to enlighten. We hope it will help many to get through this difficult time and remind us that the future will bring us, again, to a brighter day.The California Writers Club Tri-Valley Branch is a professional organization dedicated to nurturing an inclusive environment to attend to the needs of professional and aspiring writers. It is an educational group open to writers of all genres and all levels of experience.
