Synopsis
New York Times best-selling author Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum mysteries have sold millions of copies. Metro Girl introduces a new heroine, Alexandra "Barney" Barnaby. When her not-so-bright brother Wild Bill, a boat captain, goes missing in Florida, Barney takes up the search. Apart from the sunburn and humidity-induced bad hair, Barney also has to deal with Sam Hooker, whose missing boat might lead to Wild Bill. With wacky characters, side-splitting humor, sexual innuendo and lots of bad things happening to cars, Metro Girl is pure, zany Evanovich-and hopefully only the start of Barney's adventures.
