It all came flooding back in. One night, was it all she would ever have? She wanted more. Linda wanted all of him. She needed all of J.F. Jones.
Linda remembered the snow began falling lightly at first. But the murky gray color of the sky told her it wouldn’t stop before morning. Sitting on the back of the broken snow machine, Linda was wondering if she really wanted to bother trying to walk down the trail to safety when she first heard his machine.
Joey left the snow machine idling as he hopped off and strode up to her. Eyes blazing with anger, his mouth twisted into a snarl. "Are you trying to kill yourself? Damn it, Lrae, your mom called my mom. Everyone’s worried spitless about you."
He looked at the machine she perched on. Then back up at her. "It’s dead, is it?"
"It won’t start, so I suppose it's dead." She shrugged in indifference. Linda watched in amazement as both of his fists clenched. It occurred to her, Joey wanted to hit her. Feeling returned, as she slowly came back to her senses.
"So they sent the kid out to rescue me? Funny." Turning her head, Linda looked out across the river. She dismissed him. Refusing to be ignored, Joey took her chin roughly in one gloved hand. He forced her to look at him.
"Cut the ‘kid’ crap. This is the man who is gonna save your stupid hide. You’re a selfish brat, Lrae. You're all your mother has. So you were just gonna sit here on your dumb ass and freeze? Not this time, babe. Get off the machine!"
When she hadn’t moved fast enough, he picked her up and placed her on her feet off to one side. As she watched, Joey manhandled the broken snow machine around and pulled it backward toward the trees, away from the edge of the bluff.
Linda watched with interest. He was far stronger than she realized. Probably part of the strength she saw was fueled by rage. Joey rode his snow machine alongside hers. Lifting the front end, he slid it to one side and created a ‘v’ with the rear ends of both machines, the point of which faced into the wind.
Without a word, the man removed a bag from the back of his machine, Joey erected a tent which he set up between the sides of the windbreak he had fashioned. Using the two machines as anchors, he tied the tent to them.
"Get the hell over here, Lrae!" He commanded as he threw what looked to be a double sleeping bag inside the tent.
“Help me pile snow around the tent. I want it as high as the snow machines on all three sides.”
The glare he sent her way convinced her he was not to be ignored. Joey was one ticked off man. Once the snow got packed around the tent to his satisfaction, he took a small blue tarp and covered the tent and snow machines with it. The tarp was secured as the tent had been. Finished, Joey stared at her.
"If you gotta go pee, get it done now. Once this baby is buttoned up, no one is getting out again until morning. Get in, get the snow suit off, get undressed and into the bag."
When she didn’t move quickly enough for him, Joey reached out to shake her roughly. "Move your ass! Now!"
The snow fell harder. Linda ran back into the trees to pee. She noted Joey turned his back to the wind and peed a few yards away from the tent. She wasn't able to see what she wanted to. Linda was curious but didn't get her curiosity satisfied then.
After crawling into the tent, she wiggled out of the snowsuit off before sliding into the sleeping bag. As soon as Linda got inside, she encountered the softness of fur. While inside the bag, she wiggled out of her clothing. Linda kept her favorite red satin bra on, along with the matching silky red panties. Both had little gold shamrocks printed on them.
When Joey got inside the tent, he seemed to take up all the space inside. Linda realized he was fully grown or close to it. It was a bit of a struggle for him to get the snowsuit off. Linda helped him pull off the sleeves.
After grunting something in response. Joey stripped off everything but his jockey shorts, before slipping inside the sleeping bag.
“What kind of fur do you have in here?” Linda asked as he zipped the bag up tightly on either side.
“It’s a couple of the Gran’s old wolf skins. They'll help keep us warm.”
“What if it gets too cold? It’s gonna look funny if they find the two of us in here. You didn’t have to come after me.”
Before she could have said more, Joey had pulled her into his embrace. "Shut up! You insane? I had no choice. I had to come after you."
