Behind the book

Each of these books have a personal meaning to me. The military history of Hawaii turned my vacation into a research event. Going back to Alaska with my mother to see where I lived as a child turned into an adventure in the interior after our boat had an accident. I'm a firm believer in taking inspiration from experience no matter where I find it.
