Synopsis
My appearance carries nasty connotations. The kind you can’t escape, though you try.
Siri should have known better. A book will always be judged by its cover. Despite her business attire and her professionalism at her temporary job, she’s the lustful target of her leering colleague, TD (Thomas David), when he pleads with her to accept a last-minute invitation to a coveted cocktail party as a stand-in for his canceled date.
Putting her heart and Aurei on hold, she agrees to accompany TD with a warning to keep his hands to himself or there will be dire consequences. Upon arrival, though, she discovers she’s been lied to, and the truth about the party reveals her vow to return to Aurei untouched is in serious jeopardy.
But a date is a date, and she agreed to join TD —However a warning is also a warning, and TD learns the hard way that everyone has secrets. Some are simply better at hiding them than others and he has made a dire mistake.
