^Elaine

^{The fine, lemon silk whips around my legs in the light breeze. It's so quiet here, peaceful. I don't suppose it'll be long until he finds me. 7pm he said, by the pool. I've taken that as a guideline, not caring for his choice of destination. The beach is so much nicer, waves lapping the shore and sand beneath my toes. Tyler Hall will do as I bid, choosing to show me his will seductively and calmly. He's nothing like some of the others I’ve used in the past, and that’s the reason I keep meeting him every three months. He's cool, his attitude matching the taste of his mouth.}

^{And that suits me just fine.}

^{Most of the time.}

^{My gaze is drawn out to the setting sun, a long breath easing from my lips now this day's business is finally finished. Three months I've been here working. It's a far cry from my usual life, but when my company asked me to come shake up this hotel's idea of customer service I jumped at the chance. It's been frustrating, and hard work, but Puerto Rico is warmer than Canada's freezing winter months. It's another thing that suits me just fine. I might be Canadian, but that doesn't mean I like the cold my home country seems to thrive in year after year.}

^{My body shivers as the breeze intensifies, lifting my sarong from my calves. I smile, amused at the fact that it won't be on me long anyway. I might as well remove it now.  Throw it away into the sea and let it drift away with the waves quietly, just like my tension will draw from my skin when he's been all over it. The thought broadens my smile, my thighs quivering in anticipation.}

^{“Playing hard to get?”}

^{The cool, soft tone of those words send a flutter of peace over me, instantly pushing thoughts of frustration away. I don't know how he manages it. Never have. Something in his ease of nature, I suppose. I turn my head over my shoulder, watching his shadow slowly creep the ground behind me until his hands take hold of my waist. “Or is this flirting?” I laugh gently at that, amused. Hardly flirting.}

^{There's no need for that between us.}

^{“I wanted the view after my day.”}

^{“Have you been a bitch again, Elaine?” Yes. Always. It's what I'm paid to be.}

^{Doesn't mean I like it, though.}

^{His lips kiss the side of my neck, lingering on that small hollow near my shoulder, and then wander casually upwards. It's so smooth, just like him. No depth of touch yet. No show of strength or heavy aggressive foreboding like some of the others. Tyler is more seductive than that, his aura teasing the senses rather than forcing them to comply.}

^{“I've missed the taste of this skin,” he murmurs, his hands running the length of my crossed arms. “Missed releasing your tension.”}

^{I've missed him, too.}

^{He unclasps my arms locked hold around myself, gently pulling them apart to hang at my sides. Another breath pours out of me, eyes transfixed on the lowering sun out there, as he keeps touching me. Gentle hands. Soft sweeps across my bronzed skin to lull me back to the person I want to be, rather than this show of bitch that keeps me strong.}

^{“Here?” he asks.}

^{I look around, taking in the lines of coconut groves shielding this small secluded bay we're in. It's private, attached to the house my company has rented for me. No way in other than through the main building. Although, anyone could be up there on the headland - watching. And he managed to get down here somehow, regardless of not having access to the house. He always finds his way, though. Always finds me. I look at the small boat out on the jetty, soft seats and cushions piled on the back deck ready for use. A small smirk comes with the thought, and I point out into the still waters of the orange tinged ocean.}

^{“No, out there.”}
