Dr. Judith Lucci was a Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Amazon bestselling author. Her Women of Valor novels include the Alexandra Destephano, Michela McPherson, Sonia Amon and Maura Robichard medical thrillers and suspense series. Judith used her medical background to creatively kill people. "I think of heinous, devious ways to dispose of people -- sometimes a lot of people — but it must be creative. I don't use guns often but rather rely on my background to determine the best way to get the job done," she said.
Dr. Lucci was a Gold Medal Winner for Best Sleuth 2017 for The Case of Dr. Dude and another Gold Medal for Best Political Thriller in 2017 for Viral Intent. Her third Michaela McPherson mystery won a silver medal in 2018 for Best Sleuth. She won a Gold Medal for The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year, a cozy holiday mystery. She contributed to numerous anthologies, some of which are currently available on Amazon. Her Artzy Chicks cozy mystery series is set at Massanutten Resort in the Virginia mountains where a bunch of zany artists solve crimes and produce award-winning art. The first book in the series won a Gold Medal for best Holiday story several years ago.
Lucci's thrillers are a fast-paced, riveting reads that offer readers believable drama, memorable characters and true suspense. She resided in Virginia.
Dr. Lucci passed away in December 2021.
