Twenty-six romance authors have teamed up to give their readers a hot and steamy Christmas treat. This collection covers a multitude of romance tropes from some of your favorite or maybe a new favorite author.
This is a review of one story in the collection, Rockin’ My Muse by Kristin Lee. This was a short, sweet, and steamy romance story.
Fate has brought Diesel and Delilah back into one another’s lives. Diesel, a rock star, has been having trouble coming up with new songs so his record label hired Delilah to help him out if his writing slump. The record label kept it a secret from both until one of Diesel concerts not knowing the two had a past relationship. Diesel still loves Delilah but can she forgive him for breaking her heart. I recommend this book to fans of steamy and sweet second chance romances.

I received this book in a Halloween book box. This was the perfect book for the spooky season. I wouldn’t say it it scary but it is definitely spooky. There is a touch of supernatural/paranormal aspects in the story. I was so engrossed in the story by chapter 8 I too felt as if something was watching me just like our protagonist Leigh was feeling. Leigh is a character that I can see some aspects of myself as I too am a homebody or introvert. The story is well written with just the right amount of mystery and suspense to keep the story moving at a steady pace. This ghost story is written in a way that you can believe this could really happen if you believe in the paranormal. I recommend this book of fans for paranormal fiction, paranormal mystery, supernatural fiction , and ghost stories.

Wow! This book was an emotional roller coaster from the start. From the the tornado that tore through the town, to Pye going missing, to the situation with Ghostma. All this this just the secondary storyline and it was enough to pull me in the add the mystery and this was a page turner for me. This mystery keep you guess at who the killer was and why.
I listened to the audio version for this book. The narrator is wonderful at capturing the characters personalities especially Mitzy’s. She has Mitzy’s snark done pat but she also is great at really bring out Mitzy’s compassionate vulnerable side.
I recommend this book to cozy mystery fans especially if you enjoy quirky fun characters and a touch of paranormal.

Frannie Shoemaker and her friends are visiting the campground in the area where Meriweather Lewis died over two hundred years before. Like many historians Frannie and her brother-in-law debate if Lewis was murdered or committed suicide. When history seems to be repeating itself Frannie can’t help but get involved to solve the suspicious death of one of the campers.
I love this series. This book is a great addition to the series. I always enjoy reading about the gang’s camping adventures and all the trouble Frannie seems to find herself in. The characters are relatable and interesting. The mystery is well-plotted and entertaining with plenty of suspects and red herrings,
I listened to the audio version of the book. Narrator Michelle Babb is great at bringing the characters to life. She really captures each character’s voice and personality.

While sitting in a library a group of 4 strangers are brought together after hearing an ominous scream. The group finds out the scream was from a woman that later her body was found hidden in an upstairs room in the library. The group formed friendships from the time they spent together while waiting to be cleared to leave the library.
This is a well-written roller coaster of suspense. The characters are realistic and interesting. The story is full of twists and turns and red herrings. Every time I thought I figured out the killer I was surprised by another twist. I recommend this book to mystery lovers.

Violet Rhinehammer is not a fan of Halloween. She has to somehow put her feelings aside and write an article for the Junction Journal about the Halloween activities that are happening around town. When Violet stumbles over another dead body the townspeople believe she has awakened an evil spirit. Violet doesn’t believe it’s paranormal so she is determined to solve the murder.
This is a great cozy mystery to read, especially during the spooky season. The characters are fun and relatable. Violet momma is one of my favorite characters. She is full of personality and is a true southern momma. The setting of Holiday Junction is as much of a character as the people and fur babies. The town goes all out for every holiday. I recommend this to everyone who enjoys cozy mysteries and holiday themed cozies.

Storytime Hall is full of poets vying for a coveted job with a greeting card company. As Jane helps the owners of the card company organize the different events that will lead up to their winner and a job offer, she is also preparing for her best friend's wedding. So when one a the guest turns up murdered, Jane and the Fins are determined to help the sheriff solve the murder before the guests are due to check out and Eloise and Landon’s wedding.
I love the setting of Storyton Hall. This would be an ideal place for a reader to vacation, well except for the occasional murder or two. Jane, her sons, the Fins, and the Cover Girls (Jane’s friend and book club members) are interesting, smart, and likable characters. Jane is not only smart at managing a resort, but does it while raising twin pre-teen boys, and helping solve murders. The Fins are loyal to Jane and her family, they will do whatever it takes to keep the family safe and Storyton Hall’s secret protected. The Cover Girls are each unique in their own ways and a great group of friends, they celebrate one another and are are there for each other in times of need. The mystery is well-paced, with plenty of suspects and surprises to keep you guessing whodunnit and why. I recommend this book to cozy mystery fans.

It is fall in Normal, KY, and the town is celebrating the season with a Bourbon Festival. Mae West is trying to enjoy the festival and a night out with Hank. While trying to dodge the one question every keep asking (When is the wedding?) Mae overhears an argument between the bourbon king’s son and another man and woman. So when she stumbles over a body with ties to the Bourbon King, this is the perfect way to put the wedding questions on pause.
If you are looking for a cozy mystery with humor and a touch of romance this is the book/series for you. I love Mae and her friends, the Laundry Club Ladies. They are a group of smart, quirky friends with a knack of solving murders. The mystery is well-written with plenty of surprises along the way. The secondary story of Mae and Hank’s engagement is as much of a page turner as the mystery. I can hardly wait for the next one.

Mitzy and Sheriff Too Hot To Handle, Erick. are taking a weekend getaway on a 1920’s Murder Mystery Train event. Mitzy is looking forward to spending some alone time with with Erick and solving a “fun” murder. Little does Mitzy know but she and Erick will be solving a real murder and must do it before the train returns to the depot.
I love this series. You get humor, mystery, some romance, and great characters. Mitzy is full of snark and sass but she is loyal and caring. Her relationship with Sheriff Erick is going strong. We only get a small dose of her Ghostma or cat, Pyewacket in the book but enough for their fans. The mystery is full of twists and turns and surprises. It moves at a fast pace with no shortage of suspects.
I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrator is wonderful at bringing the characters and story to life. She is a great storyteller. She gives an already great story and extra spark. I recommend this to paranormal cozy mystery fans.

Mitzy is loving being a big sister today to her step-brother, Stellen. Stellen likes a cute girl named Yolo so when her project needs repaired Mitzy helps them buy time for Stellen to get the parts. Once the machine is repaired something else goes wrong Yolo’s dog goes missing. Mitzy and Stellen realize this isn’t your typical dog napping but a supernatural one and enlist the help of Mitzy’s mentor Silas. These events lead to a bigger issue that Mitzy can’t afford to lose.
This is such a fun paranormal cozy. Mitzy is my favorite human character, her cat Pyewacket is my favorite. Mitzy is full of snark, passion, and smarts. She makes for the perfect main character. Mitzy’s and Erick’s relationship is developing nicely. Pyewacket wasn’t in that much in this installment but the parts he was in were a roller coaster of emotions, from worry or laughter. The setting of Pin Cheryl Harbor fills my love of small towns. The mystery is a fast ride full of twists and turns and surprises. I must read if you like humorous paranormal cozy mysteries.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator does a fantastic job in capturing Mitzy’s personality. She is a wonderful storyteller. You can lose yourself in the story even when you can not physically read the book yourself.
All thoughts and opinions are my own, and I have not been influenced by anyone.
