Synopsis
Mateo Saldivar gave up the opportunity of a fancy city life, opting to stay behind learning the tequila business on Agave Ridge, the family ranch; nestled in the Sierra Madre Mountains in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico, strategically located on the Zacatecas and Jalisco border.
Agave tequilana is not a fast-growing plant. So, when an entire field is engulfed in flames, Mateo is at a loss. The product not only has been sold and paid for, but it seems everything at Agave Ridge is in disarray; leaving him to wonder if it is a string of bad luck, or if someone is sabotaging the business. And if so, who? Better yet why?
