Synopsis
October 22nd, 1873, Zacatecas City, Zacatecas, México
Mariana De La Vega is in a predicament. Her father has selected her marital match, yet, she's never met the gentleman. Unlike her siblings who either grew up with their spouses, or at least had the privilege of a proper courtship, Mariana must marry her future husband by proxy, and worse, she must travel alone across the border into the United States.
