Kristi Belcamino Founding authorKick-ass writer. Italian mama. Scorpio. Coffee addict. Minneapolis, Minnesota
I'm Kristi Belcamino, a USA Today bestselling author who writes dark mysteries about fierce women seeking justice. I'm also honored to be a finalist for a few really cool crime fiction community awards including the Agatha, Anthony, Barry, and Macavity award.
And last, but not least, I'm an Italian mama who bakes a tasty biscotti.
In a former life I worked as an award-winning crime reporter at newspapers in California and got to fly over Big Sur in an FA-18 jet with the Blue Angels, race a Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca and attend barbecues at the morgue.
My nonfiction writing has appeared in several publications, including the New York Times, Salon, Writer's Digest, Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, and the San Jose Mercury News.
And just because I have ink in my veins, I still work part-time as a police reporter at the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
