Heidi Vanlandingham

Romance where history lives and new worlds are born. Oklahoma
About the author

Heidi Vanlandingham writes sweet, action-packed stories that take place in the Wild West, war-torn Europe, and otherworldly magical realms. Her love of history finds its way into each book, and her characters are lovable, strong, and diverse. Heidi’s stories transport the reader to a different place and time for understanding, compassion, and most of all, love. Growing up in Oklahoma and living one year in Belgium gave Heidi a unique perspective regarding different cultures. She still lives in Oklahoma with her husband and youngest son. Her oldest son is in the autism spectrum and is working toward his own dreams. Heidi’s favorite things in life are laughter, paranormal romance books, music, and long road trips.

Hi! I'm so excited to discover new readers and ways to connect with people who love the same books I do. I write a blend of genres: supernatural fantasy that combines religious pantheons, WWII, historical fantasy WWII, and western Americana—all with tons of adventure and love that transcends time.

Book 1 in an off-shoot series from my Flight of the Night Witches, which is historical fantasy-alternate reality romance. The hero in this book isn't happy losing his family at Pearl Harbor, so he changes history and learns the past's events have happened for a reason. Unfortunately, the heroine has to help him lose his family all over again. How can they find love after that? This twist & turn writing is so difficult but I love it!
