I had a great time with this audiobook.  I recently read six of the seven books in Kate L. Mary’s Broken World series and really enjoyed myself.  When I saw that there was another series set in the same world, I knew that I needed to read those books.  Once I started listening, I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing the book in just a couple of days which is pretty fast for me with a book this length.  It is safe to say that I enjoyed this book.

As I mentioned, this book is set in the same world as the Broken World series.  I was happily surprised to find that many of the characters that I had grown to love in the first series were back in this book, just twenty years older.  I think that readers could start with this book without any issues but readers of the earlier series will have so…

I recently finished The Silent Patient, a psychological suspense/domestic thriller by Alex Michaelides. I would definitely go on to read more by Michaelides. I noticed that there are several one-star reviews at the top of the Amazon page, which is really too bad. The book has over 76,000 ratings with an over 4.5 star average and only 2% one-star reviews and it spent a year on the NYT bestseller list, so don’t get the idea that it isn’t a good book…

This is the first post in which talented authors share some experiences in producing their tales as an audiobook. I’ve been privileged to work with  fabulous folks from all corners, and I hope this small series will encourage fellow authors to engage with a crucial market niche and win new customers.
