This may be a short story but there is a lot packed into the pages. It has twists, red herrings, a cranky boss, and much more. It is well-written and flows smoothly. I definitely recommend reading Murder at Catmmando Mountain. I'm eagerly awaiting Love in The Key of Sea-Book 2 in the Georgie Shaw Cozy Mystery Series.
I love this series! Both books are good, clean cozy mysteries. They are well-written and highly-enjoyable. There are enough twists and turns to keep things interesting as Kim, Brien, and Mick hunt for the secret treasure. The humor is evident in so many ways--some subtle, some slapstick. I truly enjoy the way Anna Celeste Burke writes a story and recommend all her books.
Once again, Anna Celeste Burke has written a wonderful book. You will find drama, comedy, romance, and more when you read her books. Love Notes is well-written, moves at a steady pace, and kept my attention from beginning to end. The characters are everyday people, which I love. Makes them more real, in my opinion. Grab a copy of Murder At Catmmando Mountain and Love Notes In The Key of Sea. If you like cozy mysteries, you will love these stories.
I had some of the crooks figured out before it was revealed. However, the revelation of one of the crooks took me by surprise. It made perfect sense and added a lot to the story.
There are 2 quotes from the book that are such beautiful sentiments:
❤ The shiny things we love so often become symbols of the more intangible objects of our desire—love, safety, security, esteem, escape from the drudgery and uncertainty of everyday life. How many lose their lives, I wonder, searching for the intangible in the tangible?
❤ Is that what love is—a string of small transcendent moments bound together by the ups and downs of ordinary life? If so, I’ll take it.
If you like well-written, entertaining cozy mysteries, I strongly urge you to read Murder at Sea of Passenger X. In fact, read all the books in the series! I am eagerly looking forward to Book 6 in the Georgie Shaw Mysteries.

🔪Murder at Catmmando Mountain – 5 Stars
Murder at Catmmando Mountain is a delightful cozy mystery full of eccentric characters set in an amusement park. (Think Disney World.) Georgie Shaw is an intelligent, attractive, capable middle-aged woman. She is an interesting character and a terrific choice for the lead in a series of cozy mysteries. Detective Jack Wheeler is perfect as her new love interest. How can any man who reminds Georgie of James Garner not be perfect? I love stories with mature characters acting like adults and finding romance.

❤Love in The Key of Sea – 5 Stars
Georgie Shaw and Jack Wheeler are back in the 2nd Georgie Shaw Cozy Mystery. Georgie is finally going to face her painful past in Corsario Cove. Of course, Jack is with her every step of the way. I wish I had a Jack Wheeler of my own. He is a wonderful man. Georgie and Jack deserve an HEA.

🎃All Hallows' Eve Heist – 5 Stars
Chaos returns to Marley World & Catmmando Mountain. Of course, Georgie & Jack are right in the middle of it. With Arcadia Park filled with costumed partygoers, figuring out who the thieves are is a fun-filled ride full of twists, turns, & surprises.
Once again, Anna Celeste Burke has written a wonderful cozy mystery that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I love Georgie and Jack and can't wait to see what they do next in A Merry Christmas Wedding Mystery.
Grab this awesome mystery, sit back, and enjoy all the hijinks occurring at The Cat Factory! Better yet, start at the beginning and read all the books in the series.
Once again, Anna Celeste Burke has written an excellent story centered around Georgie and Jack (and Miles and Ella). Marvelous Marley World was a secondary character this time but that didn't detract from the story. I enjoyed Carol having a bigger role. What would Georgie do without her?
I missed Max not having a starring role. He always brings...well... you just have to read the series to appreciate all that Max brings to the series. He is too complicated and bigger-than-life to easily explain.
Murder of the Maestro is another awesome book in the Georgie Shaw Cozy Mystery Series. While each book can be read as a standalone, they are better if read in order. I urge you to read the entire series.
I love how Brien never ceases to amaze me. He seems like such a knucklehead and then he says something profound. He notices everything, even when he doesn't appear to be paying attention. I'm so glad to see Mitchum loosening up a little. He is way too uptight. I mean, why would Kim and Brien make him twitchy? LOL!
I can't imagine what will happen next in Corsario Cove but I know it will be fun to read. Like I said, Anna Celeste Burke never disappoints. You can read each story in the Corsario Cove series as a stand-alone but they will be much more enjoyable if you read them in order. I urge you to read the series if you like lighthearted mysteries with a delightful cast of characters that hold your attention from beginning to end. You will love these books.
This book helps explain the relationship between Jessica and Bernadette. How Bernadette helped Jessica grow up to be the caring woman she is today.
I definitely recommend reading Love a Foot Above the Ground. It can be read as a standalone. If you've read the Jessica Huntington series but haven't read this one, I urge you to read it. It will add depth to the characters of Jessica and Bernadette.
In A Dead Husband we meet Jessica and all of her quirky friends--her Cat Pack. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of these characters better as the series progresses. There are plenty of clues and twists and turns that kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. I like the way everything doesn't just fall into place for Jessica and the way the Cat Pack work together to solve the murder. Everybody contributes something to the investigation.
I've already got the rest of the series on my e-reader and am looking forward to seeing what happens next with Jessica and the Cat Pack.
