Do you carry around a journal to write down your inspirations?
Lucy Score just has a style of writing that I just love. โค๏ธ

I would like to praise Lucy Score who just keeps getting better and better at writing stories that captures your heart. โค

This time we find ourselves in the town of Kinship.

Our heroine is a real live YouTube videographer, Maggie Nicole's, who purchases homes, renovates them and then flips them. She does a lot of the work herself and films it from start to finish.
This time it's a home from her childhood memory from when she visited this town with her mother at the age of twelve.

Our hero is Silas Wright, aka hot landscaper guy, and from the moment he meets Maggie, he knows he wants to marry her and he's not shy about letting everyone know.

Maggie doesn't do relationships and she likes keeping on the move and thanks to her childhood baggage she would like to keep it that way.
Silas has his work cut out for him if he's going to win her over.

The characters are well developed and scenes well thought out.

Adding in the fact that people keep moving into the house with her, including a massive pitbull and two kittens, several humans and the mystery of a hidden treasure, means you're in store for a story with a lot of laughs, gasps and a truly wonderful happy ever after for everyone. ๐Ÿฅฐ
I fall in love even more with each book in this series. ๐Ÿ˜

In book three we've got some of our old friends and some new.

Riley's private-investigator boyfriend, Nick Santiago of Santiago Private Investigation's, has a new lead on a cold case that was never solved when he was on the force and now he eats, drinks and hardly ever sleeps, at least not in his own bed with Riley, because he needs to find out what has happened to Beth, who is also his old partners sister.

As Nick gets wrapped up in that case, while he's turning down other work that would actually bring in money, Riley's powers go on the fritz.

Add on top of that that they purchased a run down home in need of repairs, and Nick Santiago has a to-do list as long as the state he's living in.

The octagarians are as funny as ever with their secret code words and shenanigans.

Misses Penney steals the scenes with the doggy doody bandit case she has taken on.

My favorite chapter involves a flamethrower and a bully who finally meets his match when the girls get involved.

I look forward to the next book in this series, if Lucy Score will grace us with another. ๐Ÿ˜€
This story was so hot I thought it would consume the bees. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ๐Ÿโคโค

Jo Blum is a bee farmer who loves her job.
The property her family owns is on top of a very large shale deposit and Flexion oil company wants it no matter the cost.
Grant Stone has been sent to gather six of the farms in the area with the shale deposits with the Blum's having the most..
He comes into towns and gets he wants at any means necessary. He is considered the closer.
When Jo claims he doesn't understand the people and the hard work she challenges him to help out and see the hard work that people actually do. So he takes the challenge.
He puts on the charm, the only thing is Jo and her sisters have a pat not to date until their mama does.
Soon Grant is falling in love with the town and the girl who takes the bees and then the fun begins.

Staci Hart is a master of getting angst and love to collided.
"Sometimes we simply amount to what weโ€™ve always been destined to become."
This story grabs you from the first page and takes you on a roller coaster ride that will leave you wrecked.
I loved how Isla, was able to melt Saxon's heart.
Ilsa, is really a Warrior, who Is very smart and cunning. She can read Saxon like a book, because they are two peas in a pod, ruthless and broken.
Saxon, is born into a organization that is designed to protect the crown. As a spy he plays two sides of the field. He is known for being cold hearted. He does his job well until the moment he meets Ilsa. He recognizes that, sometimes we simply amount to what weโ€™ve always been destined to become.
He is scared all over his body, but she can see past the scars, down to the man he really is. She is scared on the inside, because of the choices that she has made.
They are fire and ice, "I breathe, you inhale, and we both go up in flames."
I can't wait for the rest of the series.
I bow to the rightful queen, Maria Luis.
The anticipation for the second book, in The Broken Crown trilogy, was well worth the wait.
Maria Luis, has found her true calling.
This story is so gripping that it's impossible to put down.
From page one you are hooked and the ending doesn't disappoint.
I never saw anything coming.
The anticipation for the next book is without a doubt going to be the most anticipated book for 2021 from this brilliant author.
Rowena is the she-wolf. A queen without a crown.
Damion had war in his blood, and Holyrood embedded in his bones and in the end, he will follow Rowena to the end of the earth.
The second book in this murder mystery series will have you guessing until the end.
Riley Thorn and her very protective boyfriend Nick are investigating a missing person. Riley is also acting on a consultant job with Nick's ex police partner, against Nick's will, when it seems they are all tied together.
Add in a family of eight elderly people who are a riot, a farting dog, and a grandmother who has made it her mission to help Riley and her family hone in on their gifts and you are in for a great read with lots of shenanigans.
I hope we'll have more great reads to this series.
I was so drawn to these two characters from the story, Avenged By Love.
I didn't want to wait for 16 year old Violet Banner to grow up. The wait was definitely worth it.

When Violet met, Dawson Langley, he was twenty-two and โ€˜shadowedโ€™ with regret due to some bad decisions he had made. He has a bad boy reputation to those who didn't really know him and was told constantly by his father he was no good.

Now five years later, Violet Banner, is a genus who has formulas and calculations swimming around in her head. She goes to Standford, but when her thesis is rejected again it means she can't get the lab time to prove her formulas.
She decides to branch out on her own and it brings her back to New London Connecticut.

When Dawson returns to New London, he is met with a grown up version of a beauty that has haunted his dreams for five years.

They are drawn together like a mouth to a flame, but they both know it can never happen, because there are so many reasons why they shouldn't be together. One that includes the fact that Dawson is living three lives, one of which involves taking down a crime syndicate.

This story will have you guessing from one chapter to the next what is going to happen.

This story felt like so many sparks were flying that it felt like I was reading about the biggest explosions of a fireworks show I could ever see up close and personal.
I could actualy feel the heat coming off the pages of this book. ๐ŸŽ†๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿงจ

It's a fast paced, continent jumping, boat racing, crime syndicates and lavish parties story, that will keep your head spinning long after you finish the story, all put to lyrics of songs so perfect that it was like they were actually written for this story.
Daughtry will never be the same.

I can't wait for the next book in this series to find out what is going to happen next. ๐Ÿ’•
Watch out! The weather may be cold on Mackinac Island, but Brick and Remi have a slow burn that will heat you up like a hot carolina reaper pepper. ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐ŸŒถ

Their's is a story the spans over fourteen years.

Sargeant Brick Callan, is an overprotective, big hearted mountain of a man, who enjoys being a bachelor and having the same quite routine on Mackinac Island in the winter.
Things are quiet with only a few hundred people who brave the winter on the island and that is just fine with him.
He never really knew what it was like to have a family growing up as a child.
Then one day she shows up and his world is turned upside down.

Remington Honeysuckle Ford, is a wild child who has the ability to associate colors to music. She is an artist who left the island only to return without any warning to her family and is hiding a secret from everyone who cares about her.

This is a slow slow burn that will have you so frustrated that you will want to scream one minute and then smiling the next.
This book has so many feels that I was worn out emotionally, like an addict that wasn't able to put the book down, like it was crack, because I just needed more.
Lucy Score, did such a great job with this story.
It was just another win, in her column, for me. โค
He wants to find his penguin and she's given up on love.
Corbin, is a little weird and nerdy, but he is passionate about his work. He has created an algorithm that help people fall in love.
Hazel, is passionate about her work, in studying human interactions.
When Corbin, presents his findings on the internet, she goes on the attack, believing that he doesn't have enough data to support his work.
When he shows up where she works, looking for a job, she can't believe that they would hire someone with no credibility, according to her.
Then they are forced to work together.
This is a hate-lust relationship, where both of them have commitment issues.
As they develop a friendship and take his test, Corbin realizes that he has found his penguin.
Claire Kingsley, has done an amazing job with these two highly intelligent, nerdy characters who are very passionate about what they believe and who come to learn that they aren't as broken as they think they are.
Shephard, is a man who is swearing off women.
All they do is use him for his money.
He has just broken up with his latest fling and sent her off on a nice vacation.
The only problem is, she went after his father, who happens to own a resort.

Everly Dalton, is an assistant for the illusive Shephard Calloway.
She had survived three years. No one has ever done that.
She is like a breath of fresh air.
Everyone loves her with her bright smile and captivating personality, what's not to love.
When her boss asks her to step in as his girlfriend she does it.
Her sister has her sights set on Shephard, as possibly being a sperm donor, and asked her, to help broker the deal.
Everly, has had one dating disaster after another, so when her boss asked her to move in, because his father will be moving in with him also due to financial woes and cancer and along with seeing his ex who he believes is just using his dad to get close to him, she figures why not. It can't be any worse than her dating disasters.
Only one problem, when Shephard starts to feel, he lets his guard down with Everly.
Everly, also can't help but fall for the real man Shephard is showing her that he really is.
This is a happy ever after story with a great storyline. It has all the feels.

Jason Clarke, is such a great narrator. He just seems to pull you into the story and his voice is so smooth.

Emma Wilder has awesome voice personalities. I love when she reads the male version and every single character gets to have their own voice. It's so refreshing.

I'm really looking forward to this whole series. ๐Ÿ™‚
Best slow burn series this year!
Evan Bailey and Fiona Gallagher are the most unlikely couple, but you can't help but root for them.

Fiona, has been stuck working for her shady father, who has only taken advantage of her for years. When he finally pushes her over the edge, she packs up her two house plants and her belongings and ends up on Evan's doorstep in need of a garage and some tools to fix her car.

Evan Bailey, is a lone wolf and he prefers it that way.
When Fiona shows up at his door with a proposition that he can't refuse, they end up on a road trip.
He can't explain it, but his desire to protect this, "ray of sunshine", is too strong, but he's been hurt before and has sworn off romance. Fiona, however is worming her way into his heart and she just might be there to stay.

Claire Kingsley, knows how to write a story, that will make you get angry, laugh and cry. You will be intrigued from the prologue to the epilogue.
This is such a great series and I can't wait for the next book. โค
