Another great installment in Mitzy Moon’s life. Mitzy is a great protagonist with her snark, graphic tees, and love for her family. The secondary chars are full of personality as well. The mystery is full of surprises.

I listened to the audiobook. The narrator is a master at bringing Mitzy and her gang to life. She captures each character’s voice and personality perfectly.

Spring time has arrived in Holiday Junction and with it so have the Easter Bunnies. Violet is covering the big event of choosing this year’s Easter Bunny. When a fellow judge is found dead, Violent’s momma is the top suspect.

This is such a fun series especially if you are a fan of holiday cozy’s. Th characters are likable, quirky, relatable. Violet and her momma have such a fun relationship. The mystery is full of twists and turns ti keep the reading searching for the hidden surprises that were left for you the reader to find to help Violet solve the murder and clear Momma.

I listened to the audio version of the book too. The narrator is great in capturing Violet’s character. She does a wonderful job in bringing the story to life.

Mae is attending the trial opening of a new star gazing business. However, she would much rather be at the trial opening of the ziplining business. Her disappointment is forgotten when she sees a body dangling from the zipline. Mae and the Laundry club lady start their investigation while the ladies are trying to navigate new relationships in their lives.

This is a great read. The mystery is well plotted with plenty of twists. The well placed red herrings allow me to lose myself in the story and decipher the clues to solve the murder alongside Mae. The characters and their relationships just keep getting more developed and complex. This evolution in the characters just makes me as the reader be able to relate more to the issues they may be facing and celebrate their achievements. I feel like I am reading about beloved friends and what is happening in their lives.

Abby McCree has been tasked with personally making contact with the vendors of the upcoming debut arts & craft fair for Snowberry Creek. Abby along with two friends go on a tour of nearby fairs so she can meet these vendors. Everything has gone great until the last one. When she tries to meet one artist he seems to be having a tense discussion with another man so she is unable to meet the last vendor on her list. After returning home she finds out that her business card has been found at a crime scene. She has vowed to stay out of police investigations, but will she be able to keep this resolution?

This has been a really fun cozy mystery series. This book did not disappoint, it was an entertaining cozy read. The characters have shown so much growth over the series in their relationships and character development. I really enjoy the relationships that Abby has formed with not only Tripp but Gage and Ben as well. Her fur baby Zeke is one of my favorite characters, he is so loving and protective. The mystery is well-plotted with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I recommend this book to cozy mystery fans.

Violet has a visitor from her hometown. Mae West from Normal, Ky has come to see Violet and her new hometown for New Year’s Eve. Violet is happy to see Mae, but she has a lot of work with the Holiday Junction newspaper to run, the upcoming Sparkle Ball and events, and her secret job of being the Merry Maker. She seems to be getting everything done while Mae visits with Millie Kay until Violet stumbles over another body. Violet and Mae join forces like the did a few times in Normal to solve the murder before the clock strikes twelve on New Year’s Eve night.

What a fun read, it’s a wonderful escape from my daily stresses. I couldn’t put it down. I loved seeing Violet and Mae solving a murder together again. Having Mae visiting kept Violet on her toes and helped her out with some of her self doubts she was having about a certain someone. The mystery is full of plot twists to keep you trying to guess whodunnit. I recommend this book to fans of cozy mysteries with humor and a touch of romance.

I listened to the audiobook the second time I read this book. The narrator does a great job voicing the characters. This was a pleasant experience reading the book.

I have to preface this to say this may not be a book for everyone right now.

Frannie and her husband are working has the hosts of a campground during the height of the pandemic. While dealing with the management and upkeep of a campground, they are having to keep their grandchildren because the daughter-in-law is in the hospital with the virus. In the middle of trying to homeschool and keep things positive for the kids they stumble over a dead body.

I was not that bothered by the fact the book takes place during the pandemic. I was still able to enjoy this mystery. I think things are far enough removed that you can relate to this affects the characters without being too raw and real, for me at least. It was interesting to see how campgrounds dealt with keeping people safe. The mystery aspect was well-written with plenty of twists and turns. I didn’t figure out who was behind the attack.

I listened to the audio version of the book. The narrator does a fabulous job bringing the characters to life. She is great at distinguishing each character’s voice and able to bring out the characters’ emotions.

Mitzy is super excited about getting her own real Christmas tree. However this excitement is short-lived when she and Erick stumble over a body. Since the body is on Twiggy’s property, Twiggy becomes a suspect. Mitzy has to clear Twiggy’s names especially if she wants peace in her home (Ghostma is adamant about her friend’s innocence.)

Once again Trixie Silvertale has written absolute humor and fast paced cozy mystery I couldn’t put down. The characters are entertaining and likable. The mystery is full of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing whodunnit. The secondary story of Mitzy’s relationships with Erick and her family is as interesting and well-written as the mystery.

I listened to the audiobook. The narrator is fantastic at bringing the story and characters to life. She has a pleasant voice and is great with the accents for each character.

Dela Alvaro goes from helping solve murders to being a prime suspect in a murder. After rescuing a donkey, Dela gets into an altercation with a man who is later found dead. Dela may lose her job as head of security and arrayed for a crime she murder she didn’t commit unless she can prove she is innocent.

This is my favorite book in the series so far. You can enjoy the book as a stand-alone but you will understand Dela’s backstory better if you read the other books first. Dela is a great protagonist, she is strong-willed, smart, and a survivor. The mystery and secondary storyline are both interwoven seamlessly together. The mystery is well paced and plotted with plenty of twists and turns.

I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrator did a great job voicing each character. This was an enjoyable experience, the narrator was pleasant to listen to and brought the story to life. I recommend this book to fans of the series, Author PatyJager, and mystery lovers.

This is an entertaining series you can’t help but laugh out loud while reading it. Mitzy’s is full of snark and is my favorite character. The mystery is full of twists and turns to keep you guessing.

I listened to the audio version of the book. The narrator does a fantastic job of bring. Out the characters personality and the emotions. I can’t wait to escape while listening to another one of Mitzy’s adventures. I recommend this series if you enjoy humor, a touch of paranormal, a feisty feline, and a well written mystery

It’s Christmas time and Normal, KY is going all out with the festivities. However when, a delivery man is found dead and Santa is a suspect Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies have to investigate. I love this series. Each installment is full of humor, southern charm, and mystery. I love the Laundry Club Ladies as a whole but my favorite character is Dottie. She is unapologetically full of sass and is already herself, even those she is secretly a bit of a softie for kids and those she loves. The mystery kept me guess until the end. The book includes camping hacks and recipes. I recommend this to cozy mystery fans.

Mae West is training for the annual Turkey Trot Race. She decided to join a runner’s group to keep in shape for her upcoming wedding and so she can enjoy the delicious Thanksgiving feast at Mary Elizabeth’s. This is also a weekend of the reunion for anyone that previously lived in Normal to come to town and meet-up at the Red Barn. When a dead body turns up outside the Red Barn the next day. Can Mae stay out of the investigation when it seems someone may be targeting a friend?

Once again Mrs. Kappes has penned a delightful funny cozy mystery. The characters are a fun close-knit group of friends that have a habit of nosing into murder investigations. The town of Normal, KY is as much a part of the story as the characters. Normal is in the Daniel Boone National Forest and is full of charm and atmosphere. The mystery is full of twists and turns to keep you guessing whodunnit.

Dela is back with another murder investigation. Dela, being head of security at the casino, must work with FBI Special Agent Quinn and the Reservation police officer Heath Seaver. Since Dela has had a past with both men (although not not romantic) there seems to be an added layer of competition or tension between the three as the investigation progresses. Instead of working as a team they seem to be going in different directions. Will they get past this and solve the murder.

This is only the second book in the series however it is quickly growing as one of my favorite series. The characters are interesting, relatable, real, complex, and entertaining. Dela is a strong smart female protagonist. She and her newly acquired fur baby are both handicapped but they don’t let this slow them down. The mystery is well-written with plenty of misdirections and suspense. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

I listened to the audio version of this book too. The narrator has a wonderful voice. She really brings Dela and the other characters to life.

All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way have I been influenced by anyone.
