Synopsis

"The Man Who Liked Dickens" is the tale of an upper-class Englishman who, in an effort to win back his unfaithful wife, joins an expedition to follow the Uraricoera River in South America. When things quickly go awry and he is rescued by an English-speaking man living among Shiriana Indians, he considers himself lucky... at first.

Arthur Evelyn St. John Waugh (October 28, 1903 - April 10, 1966) was an English writer of novels, biographies, and travel books; he was also a prolific journalist and book reviewer. He is recognised as one of the great prose stylists of the English language in the 20th century.

Richard Rohan is a stage and film actor, as well as an award-winning narrator. He has recorded many hundreds of audiobooks and has received critical acclaim for many of his performances.
