The dragon council has scorched most of the land in their quest to kill off the last of humanity. Now, even other dragons agree that they must be stopped. Unfortunately, the best way to stop them is to team up with the humans in Ytona, a village dedicated entirely to killing dragons and to making use of their magic.
Caleb has been to the village before; the last time he went, he was imprisoned for being a dragon. But when he’s gravely injured in a fight with the council, he has no choice but to entrust his safety to the village while he recovers. Nowhere else is safe.
