Synopsis
The prime mover obliterated the back porch as it rammed head-on into the homestead, tearing through the timber structure like a battering ram.
The state premier, a small man whose first term in office made him some big enemies, has received death threats the federal police are taking seriously. For his planned visit to Cairns in far north Queensland, the Feds call on national security agency NatSec to assist with the premier's protection detail.
Agent Jo Modeen is assigned the task, what she considers little more than a ‘babysitting' job. That is, until an attempt on her own life makes it clear that vengeful biker gangs and recently retrenched, highly disgruntled public servants are not the only threat.
