Synopsis
From Book 1:
What happens when toys are forgotten about?
Do they quietly sit in a drawer or a dark closet, or do they fight for their rights and reclaim their once-earned spot in daily play?
Hudson, Jax and Hendrix are three young boys who have forgotten what it’s like to play imaginative games with their toys. Their green army guys haven’t been touched in weeks; musical instruments haven’t been played for two months; and as for the basketball, soccer ball and goal…they’ve been languishing in the garage for far too long.
The problem for the other toys is that the boys are using their electronic devices more than ever and are forgetting how much fun it is to make up games or to play outside, even when it is cold.
So, when they wake up each morning to find letters from each of their toys waiting at the foot of their beds, it’s time to act.
Can the older toys match up to the glitzy new electronic devices that promise everything and can go anywhere? Can they persuade Hudson, Jax and Hendrix to give them another chance and see how much fun they can be?
Or are we now at the point of The Great Toy Revolt?
