Synopsis

Dunmara, County Clare, Ireland / Singapore, 1938–1945
Laurie Ogilvie falls in love with Kitty Kirwan long before the war ever touches them, but when Kitty's boorish husband resurfaces after years missing, her faith leaves her no path but to take him back. Heartbroken, Laurie sails for Singapore to join his brother, only to be swept into war in the pacific, where everything he thought he knew about survival, loyalty, and love is stripped away. Half a world apart, Kitty waits, beside a husband she never wanted, for a single word from the only love she’s ever known, but there is nothing.

Dunmara, County Clare, Ireland
Orla Daly's marriage is officially ending, and the mother she never knew is finally becoming real to her, two upheavals which are testing her to her limits, even before Donnacha O'Reilly starts asking for more of her heart than she's sure she can give. Then a podcast appearance meant to raise Dunmara's profile does exactly that, and an ocean away, someone is watching who recognises far more than the house.

Kitty Kirwan's Last Waltz is the fourth novel in the Dunmara Story.
