Hanging by a thread over a cold, dark abyss is Ginny Mackenzie's worst nightmare. Only this time, she isn't dreaming.
When Lady Luck offers tickets to the Midwinter Feast, Jim and Ginny Mackenzie are delighted. Unfortunately, even the lightness of their hearts can't dispel the darkness in the heart of a man bent on revenge, so when the cable snaps on the elevator they're in, it seems their luck has run out.
