When Lana ran for her life that one stormy night, she never envisioned her journey would lead her to Max. She has never felt so loved and accepted for who she is, and she cannot wait to start a new life with him. However, in the corner of her mind, she feels a darkness coming.
Max can’t believe how his life has turned out since he met Lana. He knows, without a doubt, that she is the one for him. He is hoping that their weekend away at his family cabin will bring them closer, but an unsuspected surprise awaits them at the cabin… one that leaves Max scared and confused.
Lana and Max are being tested in ways they never have before, and by the time the weekend ends, they will find out all the answers to their looming questions. However, they may not like what they find out.
