Del Randall has reached that point in his life where he doesn't want much more than to be left alone. A Viet Nam vet, who was almost killed in combat, Del's life was going along just fine until his wife of over forty years passed away. On top of that, his mild PTSD is mixing with the initial signs of dementia. Getting old sucks, but at least he has one good friend and a loving daughter, not to mention a cat that has been around for more than a decade and a dog that's a more recent arrival. He's coping and where better to cope with life than in the Texas Hill Country. But living out your remaining years in peace can be hard when you run face to face with three killers running from the law.
