Synopsis

From Book 1:

There's a new sheriff in town, and he was once an outlaw!

Lawton (Silver) Silverton returns to Blackhawk, knowing his new profession as town sheriff isn't going to be easy. After running with the Amos gang, he doesn't expect to be accepted, even if he had a darn good reason for what he did. Silver holds no regrets except for one. He left behind Sadie Hunter, the girl he loved, and now he wants her back.

Sadie Hunter made a new life for herself the day Silver left town without even a goodbye. Now he has the nerve to show up as Blackhawk's new sheriff, and her world is turned upside down. He'd turned outlaw and left her behind, and now he thinks they can pick up where they left off. He wants to make amends, but three years is a long time to have been apart. Many things have happened since then, and she's not in a hurry to tell him her biggest secret.

Can the outlaw turned sheriff bring law and order to Blackhawk as well as mend a relationship that has fallen apart? Or is it too late for Silver to have the life that he and Sadie had once planned on spending together?
