There was so much about this book I loved. Duke the Golden was number one, of course. Dogs; they bring us together and give us such unconditional love. The characters were wonderful and so well developed. I had a special spot in my heart for Arthur; he’s gentle, like my own dad who also has another thing in common with Arthur (can’t give away spoilers). I could just feel the love of a small town where I’d love to be part of such a community. Loved it all!

This book was awesome! Definite must read book! I loved A Dog’s Hope, now I have another favorite with A Dog’s Chance. I felt like I was there with these characters. I am a retired Nurse Practitioner that raised my daughter as a single mom. If you love dogs, you will love this book. After reading the first chapter, you will be captured in this feel good book. It shows that even when you go through difficult events in life you can make good memories. This book just made me happy! Thank you.
