Hi, I'm Katje van Loon! I'm a writer, witch, dog mom, wife, gamer, daughter, planner, crocheter, knitter, book hoarder, and sleep enthusiast. By day I work in healthcare in Health Information Management and by night I do everything else. (See: sleep enthusiast. I don't get enough of it.)

My puppy is Sirius Li, he's a 7 month old Border Collie and I'm completely besotted with him. My husband is Mr. Katje, he's an almost-40 year old grumpy Ogre, and I'm also completely besotted with him. My mom is Kaimana Wolff, also a writer, and together we are Kat & Wolff: Mother Daughter Novelists. (Though we don't really collaborate on work except when I steal her characters and give them their own stories.) Oh, and we have an old man doggo, Lord Tyee, who also writes his own books, and who we are also besotted with (lots of besotting in this family). He's 75% wolf, 25% Shepherd, and he's 12 this month!

I live in Powell River, BC, Canada, otherwise known as The Pearl on the Sunshine Coast. I am three raccoons in a trench coat, I would fight a god for half a bagel, and my dream is to have a house on the edge of the woods so I can become the village witch, doling out help and potions for Starbucks gift cards or the occasional first born. (Starbucks preferred.)
