I just finished Charlaine Harris's Real Murders. It was good but I'm not sure I would call it a cozy.

I'll start. I've been writing my whole life. Last year I published two books on KDP - Jess Sayin' - A Grace Texas Mystery, and Chace Scene (the second in my series). Chace Scene is free for Kindle now through May 2, 2021 - so grab it for FREE! My 3rd book, Babbling Brooke, is coming out May 15th.
Grace, Texas is a fictional small town somewhere in East Texas. The town is full of humorous, quirky characters. My main character, Jess, is unlucky in love and even more unlucky in her career as a journalist. I've always loved mysteries and writing this series (only 3 books so far) has been so much fun!
Now I'm reading From Beer to Eternity by Sherry Harris. I'm 42% in, reading it on my Kindle Fire. What's everybody else reading?
I'm in the middle of A Wicked Yarn by Emmie Caldwell. Not a bad mystery. At this point, I have no idea who-done-it!

Almost one year. I've been writing my whole life. I finished my first book after working on it for about 7 years. I published it through KDP last April after being laid off due to Covid. My second book only took 4 months.
My least favorite thing is low sales. I haven't hit the big time yet so I've still got my pesky day-job. That really cuts into my writing time. But I remain hopeful and keep chugging away.
