Jeremy Irons (born Sept. 19, 1948) is an English actor who has appeared in dozens of movies and TV dramas. His breakout role in the series Brideshead Revisited (1981) earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination.

He voiced H.G. Wells in the English-language version of the former Disney attraction The Timekeeper. He is also one of the readers in the 4x CD boxed set of The Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde, and he has won multiple Emmys, including Outstanding Narrator for Game of Lions in 2014.
