About the narrator

Ell Potter (she/they) is an actor, writer and theatre-maker. They trained at LAMDA.

Theatre credits include HOTTER (Soho Theatre), FITTER (Soho Theatre), and Suddenly Last Summer (Oxford Playhouse). Screen credits include Minutes (official selection BFI Flare & Outfest LA), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), and Surfing (Channel 4 Random Acts). Ell is co-founder of acclaimed queer theatre collective Hotter Project, and co-hosts the British Podcast Award-nominated series Life of Bi: a slippery history of bisexuality. They’re a keen musician: singer, saxophonist, and accordion-player.

Ell is an accomplished voice actor. She was named Audible’s ‘Breakout Star’ in 2019, and is a multi award-winning narrator recording extensively with the BBC, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins and Macmillan.
