Born on June 4, 1962 in Pontiac, Mi Bahni Turpin is an American stage and screen actor known for her roles in Malcolm X and Cold Case Files and as an award-winning audiobook narrator.  Her audiobooks appear regularly on Amazon’s monthly top ten list. Several of her audiobooks are among the most popular and successful in recent years, including The Help and The Hate U Give.
