About the narrator

Born January 27, 1965, Alan Cumming is a Scottish actor, singer, writer and filmmaker. His performances on stage include Hamlet, the Maniac in Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Samuel Beckett's Endgame at The Old Vic, The Threepenny Opera,  and as the master of ceremonies in Cabaret among many other leading roles.

He's appeared in a number of films including Emma, GoldenEye, the Spy Kids trilogy, Son of the Mask, and X2. Cumming received multiple awards for his role on The Good Wife, including three Primetime Emmys, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Golden Globes.

Cumming has written both a novel, Tommy's Tale, and an autobiography, Not My Father's Son: A Memoir.  He has narrated a number of bestselling fiction and nonfiction titles, including his own as well as Leviathan, Behemoth and Goliath, by Scott Westerfeld, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Michael Ondaatje's Anil's Ghost, among others.
