A thoroughly enjoyable beginning to the Cowboy State Lawmen series. Full of unexpected twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. When you think you have a handle on the situation, you find out you don’t! I highly recommend this read.

I absolutely love cozies and have read my fair share of them and finally I’ve found one where the author definitely impressed me! A must read series for all cozy enthusiasts!

When an intriguing Frenchwomen upsets Richard’s ho hum life as an innkeeper during her visit to the Loire Valley he finds himself living out his wildest noire film fantasies as they search for a missing guest with mafia ties. An entertaining and complex mystery that while slow at times, proved to be worth the effort!
Another fantastic installment in the Dublin Driver series! Will Megan’s relationship survive her latest brush with murder? If she makes it out alive? An amazing ride you don’t want to miss! Bravo.

Carly’s world in Balsam Dell is expanding with the addition of two old school friends and the town manager in the newest installment of the Grilled Cheese Shop mysteries. I wanted this book to be as spicy as the name of Lynd’s bakery and it just wasn’t. While the colorful descriptions of the background and the tempting aromas were there they just didn’t evoke much of a response from me unfortunately. The whodunit portion of the cozy didn’t provide a satisfying reveal for me as well.
A fun rom com quest to find an artifact that proves that The Trojan was is more than a myth with shades of And Then There Were None. Five stars!
A highly relatable later in life journey that was at times laugh out loud fun and at others simply heartbreaking. The title drew me to the book and I was a little disappointed the Silver Surfers didn’t play a bigger role in Elin’s journey. I felt it was a bit misleading but still a very good book.
Not one of my favorite Poirot’s. Hercule doesn’t make an appearance until almost half way through the book. Story drags until that point with the only likeable character being the unfortunate murder victim.
