I was so excited to see this holiday spin-off series from Camper Cozy set. Violet Rhinehammer, the local news report in Normal, KY was on her way to a life-changing job interview. Her plans to leave Normal and not look back were finally being realized as she was on a flight to California to interview for a major news outlet. Just as nothing is normal in Normal, KY, Violet does not have a problem-free flight. After discovering a body, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Holiday Junction. When a town is named Holiday Junction, you can be sure that the residents take their holidays very seriously. When the plane lands, they are starting the St Patrick’s Day celebrations. The book will keep you laughing as Violet is caught up in helping solve the murder (so she can get to California for her interview), the town’s holiday celebrations, and the mysteries around the family of a certain airport security guard who was assigned to keep an eye on her. I enjoyed seeing how Violet’s character grew and developed as she worked to solve the crime without the help of Mae West. In this book, Violet has the chance to learn more about herself. I could not put the book down as I had to know who committed the murder and the choices Violet was going to make for her future. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
