Audio Review from November 2019
This was a wonderful story of two adults finding their way to each other.
They each had a path they were walking and didn’t realize they needed the other until their paths intertwined without their knowledge and love took over.
Shane is fantastic in this book! He’s simply perfect for this character!!
Saskia is amazing! I love her work! She flies between accents with such ease!!

This audio was AMAZING!!!
I loved Dan (Bitner)! His voice is similar in style to Jason Clarke's--soft but deep and smooth. He was so perfect for Vaughn!
I loved the Birthday Suit connection too!! Hi Lulu!!
Andi Ardnt, Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder were wonderful as well!

I love this story! They start as strangers on opposite sides of a financial deal they can’t agree on.
They move to business partners with a side of fun on the side, and move to true partners in life and love before either one realizes what happened!!
The typical romance book misunderstanding was as untypical in this book as the couple’s relationship. It was fun watching Ryder make up for it though!
The grandfather was a great character and I wish we had gotten to “see” more of him!
Love love love these two!!
And of course the obligatory GUSH about Shane East and Saskia Maarveld!!
Soooo good!! The only thing that would have made it better would have been duet style!

Good Story Overall
So this book takes 25 chapters to confirm what happened with the wife and then CLIFFHANGER!! lol
It’s just a good thing I had the second book ready to go!!
Overall the story is good it’s just a little slow with filling in the background of Aiden and Bailey (the wife)
And flipping to the chapters from the Nanny’s Point of view.
It took me awhile to really get into the story because of that but once I did I was invested.
I have now finished the first book and that cliffhanger is EPIC!! I can’t even imagine what people did waiting for the second book lol

Oh my!! This one was a heart sting tugger!!
The last of the Royals books, the last of the King/Westbury clans.
We maybe need a book about Aurora though to finish it all out lol
This story was lovely! And when Logan did the typical I’m a dumba$$ move I was yelling at him lol
His grandmother set him to rights though.
I loved her character! So full of life and spunk!
And the epilogue was WONDERFUL!! Ahhh!!!
Shane East is improving his craft, I love following narrators and hearing them improve as they become requested more and more.
This was my first Imogen Church book and her guy voice needs some work but she has a lovely rasp to her “Normal” character speaking voice. I would definitely listen to a book with her again!

Beautifully Written
So since this duet was more love story than romance the first book started a little slow and then picked up steam.
When I hit then cliffhanger I actually went WHAT? Because it was confusing. I immediately opened this one and read into the first chapter to clear my head lol
This one was interesting following the bread crumbs of “where’s Bailey?” And leaving how Aiden and Bailey’s path intertwined with Cami’s.
And I LOVE Dante! He’s so feisty and fun!
And the cliffhanger on the epilogue was HILARIOUS! Can't wait to dive into Jackson and Harley’s story to see how the cliffhanger plays out!

There are three stories here in this wonderful anthology.
I think the third one was my favorite though!
Short and sweet and fun! With a little sexy sprinkled in!
Andi Ardnt and Sebastian York are great performers and I enjoy their work!

This story was short, cute and naughty all rolled into one package.
The narrators were both new to me and both did a great job.
CJ Mission has a deep rich voice that I will definitely look for more of.
Debra Woodward has a lovely voice with just a hint of a smile at all times at least in this story.

While this was book centered around Christmas but that wasn’t the main focus.
That was the couple of course! Hehe
Riley and Kennedy start off by exchanging barbs via email and sparks fly.
The letter the columnist sends to HIM is HILARIOUS!!
Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt are nothing short of fabulous as usual. They have a natural flow to their voices that is peaceful to listen to. A

I finished The Christmas Pact recently and was told in Penelope’s reader group the hilarious columnist was from this story Stuck Up Suit so I FINALLY gave in and listened to it as it’s been on my to read/listen FOREVER lol
And I just have to say that it is AMAZING! The humor is on point and Siraya doesn’t let Graham get away with ANYTHING lol I would love more from this couple for sure!
And Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell knock the performance of this book out of the park. It’s so natural and just flows beautifully.

So the beginning of this story has SO.MUCH.PROMISE.
Then she pulls these two people in two different directions for TEN YEARS. Rips their hearts to shreds and then finnallllllyyyyyy they get their happy ending.
And WHAT AN ENDING!! So beautiful and sweet ❤️❤️
The narrators were wonderful. The guy (Charlie Anson) has a lovely soft cadence to his voice in this book. I could listen to him narrate a book solo and be perfectly happy.
The female, Eleanor Tomlinson has a lovely soft lilt and flow to her voice also.
I very much enjoyed their storytelling, just not the story really.

So this book was a super cute Friends to Lovers slow burn romance. It had just enough heat once they declared their feelings to make it sizzle and pop but not drive you to sweat buckets lol
I really enjoyed the story. It really fits the adorable title!
The situation is quite believable also.
