Oh, this Ridge Rogues!! First Ford and his broody ways, and now Archer. My poor broken, Archer. And Sarah - what a strong character she is!! A little timid on the outside but a total force on the inside!

While their relationship starts out quite contentious, beneath the insults and the hurtful comments is a bonfire waiting to explode.

I loved these two. My heard broke for Archer, using any willing woman to block out his painful past. Then along comes Sarah who won't play his game and won't let him off the hook. Just what he needed to finally see what he'd been missing.

I can't wait for the rest of this series and the stories of the remaining Ridge Rogues!!

I am just utterly amazed at how, book after book after book, this author never fails to leave me with my mouth agape at the end. This one was no different!

So we have 5 strangers, all given a free spot on a chartered cruise around the coast. Sounds like a dream right? Free food, free booze, free boat ride? For our narrator, it was just what she needed, feeling ignored by her always-working husband on their vacation. Well, sometimes the saying "too good to be true" needs be be heeded.

As our group finds themselves stranded on a seemingly deserted island, it becomes clear that this was not just happenstance - they were chosen. But why, and by whom? And when the game becomes clear, can anyone be trusted? Should they work together, or is it every man/woman for themselves?

This book kept me on the edge of my seat and glued to my Kindle! And about 3/4 of the way through, I said... Wait...What? Everyting I though I knew was totally thrown out the window. Again! All through the book, I kept wondering if one of them was in on whatever was going on, or questioning who could be trusted and who couldn't. My mind was spinning!!

And that ending? Well, she wouldn't be called the "Queen of Twists and Turns" without throwing a curveball to the readers, now would she? This was like Survivor - meets Lord of the Flies - meets Hunger Games. It was truly brilliant!

I seriously cannot get enough of this author. I've read them all, and not ONCE have I figured out the ending. Not once, and I hope I never do! Ms. Modglin, you keep writing them, and I'll keep reading them!!

If you haven't read her books, I strongly suggest you do! Once you read one, you won't stop!!

Oh, I loved this story so hard!!

Even meeting under the most unfortunate and tragic of circumstances, Deputy Lance Malloy and Kellie Bryant were drawn to each other. It was the timing that was off, and the fact that in one moment, Kellie became the single parent to her 2 year old niece. Rory needed to be her focus now.

Flash forward a few months, and another chance meeting brings these two together again. Finally getting chance to get to know one another, fate steps in and throws another tragic event in their way. This time though, it's Lance that needs to wrestle the demons of guilt and grief.

Being a law enforcement officer is no easy task. You see the worst of the world on a daily basis and I cannot imagine the burden that can be. I respect the way this author brings out the stresses of the job in this story, and the vulnerability of the characters. It's no easy task to love an LEO either and it takes a special kind of person to do it.

I loved this story and my heart broke for both of them but love is strong. I'm routing for these two!

If you haven't read book 1, Family of Blue, I'm not going to try not spoil anything for you here.

Let's just say that these two are amazing together. They've recovered from the first rounds of hard times, never faltering in their love for one another. Things seem to be going great, even with the adjustment of being in "Blue Love" as I call it - missed dinners, late nights, etc. But, once again, tragedy strikes, threatening to put a wedge between them, and change both of their lives forever.

I could not put this down. Had it not been for having to work, I'm sure I would have finished it in one sitting. Don't tell my boss, but I did have my kindle propped up on my desk so I could steal a few pages here and there, and I'm not sure how much of that Zoom meeting I actually paid attention to, but, oh well.

The ending of this one had me gasping, then yelling "Nooooooooo!" Now, I really need the next book stat!!

This is an amazing series! You don't want to miss out!! If you haven't read Book 1, I urge you to do it right now!! If you have read book 1, then don't stop now!! Grab this one!!

This is such a cute series, and I am loving it!

So we move on to the next season of Chloe trying to break out of her comfort zone. She expected to be pushed to her limits, but she didn't expect Dune! Tall: Check. Hot: Check. Tattooes: Check. Biker Vest: Check. Lip Piercing: Check. Um... other piercing: Check, Check, Check. What's not to love, right? His craving for adreneline infused thrills definitely puts Chloe out of her hum-drum zone.

But, is this who she really is? Can she become Dune's "Old Lady" and not lose herself in the process. One aspect of Dune will help her make that decision.

I'm enjoying Chloe's journey to find herself and to find the one that will finally, finally allow her to get over the crush on her best friend Austin. Oh, and by the way, I think Austin might just be starting to notice Chloe in a different light.

I can't wait to see what Fall has in store for Chloe!

I loved Devline and Ellie! The conclusion to their story was full of action, suspense, twists, love and of course.....steam!

Now that Devlin's secret has been leaked to the press, a whole new world of troubles could be coming to their doorstep. Will his father's former followers try to eliminate him, or worse, eliminate the one he loves? It's clear that someone is coming for them, but who? And who was behind the leak, and the biggest question of all - why?

I did not see that ending coming!!

I can't wait for Brandy and Ronan's story next!!

"Change is coming but from which direction and where, I have no idea."

This was such a sweet story of love, loss, last chances, and second chances!

My heart broke for Raven, just wanting that one last chance to say goodbye. Then, crossing boundaries to find it, and get a second chance at joy and unfulfilled promises at the same time.

It's a quick read, but full of so much emotion! I was sad to see it end - I wanted more!

This does have a bit of a fantasy/sci-fi vibe, which is not usually my thing, but this story kept me captivated and invested in the characters!

Definitely give it a read!

Oh, Dallas McCall. What am I going to do with you? I have some thoughts on that, but those will have to wait.

So, we have Dallas McCall. His marriage is in tatters, he's working out of his garage to scrape enough together to make ends meet, and he's got a price on his head after a bad decision sends several of his biker brothers to prison. His soon-to-be ex is nothing short of a bit......well, you can figure it out, but when his former brothers come looking for him, Roxie is in the crossfire.

Will Dallas make the ultimate sacrifice for the woman he once loved? Will that sacrifice, if made, be in vain? Or maybe, just maybe, if he makes it out alive, can he finally have the happiness he's been missing.

Dhani Ewing is a new author and this book is one of his first. I think he did a wonderful job with it! It was full of action, some steamy scenes, and was fast paced! It kept my attention and I couldn't put it down!

I am excited to see what comes next from this author!

Well, this is going to be an interesting series. A HOT one, and an interesting one!

This is a quick read so I won't get in to too much detail here for fear of spoiling things for anyone. Needless to say, when you are equipped for a job, and up to your eyeballs in debt, you do what you gotta do, right?

But, what sounds like a deal too good to be true, although risky, may come at a price that poor Scott may not be willing to pay. Beware of the devil in disguise.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!!

This was a cute, quick read, the story surrounding Chole's attempts to get back in the dating world in an effort to get "over" her secret crush. Oh, yeah, did I mention that her crush is also one of her best friends? #ObliviousAustin

Plunging in to the dating app world, she meets Finn, who on the surface seems to check off most of her boxes. He's handsome, built, and seems to genuinely care about her. At least for now. But, is that enough? Can she be the girl Finn wants without losing herself in the process?

The bigger question is - does she even want to try?

I think at one time or another most, if not all of us, have crushed on our best friend. And we all know that familiar heartache when that crush is with someone else, even knowing they have no idea how you feel about them. Poor Chloe. But, as they say, the best way to get over someone is to get ..... well you know the rest.

Her dating adventures continue in the next installment in this series, and I can't wait to see what's next!!

OMG I loved these two!! This has to be the best one of the series! I loved the back and forth between Lucas and Carmen - the "I hate him/I want him", and the way he pushes all of her buttons - both in a good way and a bad way!

And that sheet time? Phew, talk about HOT!!

Definitely grab this one!!!

Why oh why is it that the more broken and messed up the man is, the more we just want to climb him like a tree? When this series first started, I was drooling over Gabe. Then, I fell head over heels for Seth. Now? Good Lord!! Dex is.... well, let's just say I'm on the hunt for a life size cardboard cut out to put next to my bed.

Dex, my poor Dex - fighting the demons of addiction, trying to hold on to the woman he loves yet messing everything up at every turn, keeping secrets, and trying to keep his best friend from going off the rails. Then we have Siobhan, the fiery, redheaded spit fire. Despite all the red flags telling her to run the other way, she can't help but draw closer to Dex. She grounds him. She calls him out on his missteps, and despite their separation, she always knew. It was him. He was the only one for her.

And you can't have a rockstar romance without some angst and drama, right? Secrets come out that could ruin friendships and relationships, a mysterious death could destroy Forgotten Legacy forever, and a devious plot against Dex could have him in deep trouble.

This series keeps getting better and better, and believe me the bar was set pretty high with the first in the sereis, Tattooed Memories. These boys break my heart into tiny pieces but then pick them up and put it all back together again, where each of them remains part of me.

Luca's book is next and from what we've read so far, I fear he just may break me in half. I can't wait!
