As much as I loved Weston and Chloe in book one of the Defenders of Battle Mountain series by author Nichole Severn I fell head over heels with Easton and Genevieve. Full of twists and turns as a DA Genevieve is being hunted by a serial killer, Eason battles his own PTSD from his time in Afghanistan. An exciting read that makes this a must for any Intrigue fan.
By the end of chapter seven I needed to catch my breath! Grave Danger is an unputdownable action packed story that sent me on an emotional rollercoaster. So much more than what you’ve come to expect from a Harlequin Intrigue mystery of the month. Weston and Chloe’s story may have wrapped up but I can’t wait for Easton’s installment. Nichole’s storytelling keeps growing by leaps and bounds and she has become one of my must read favorite authors in the last four years.
A rerelease of two wintertime classics that are well worth reading again.

Nichole Severn’s The Line of Duty is book 6 of 6 in the Blackhawk Security series and can be read as a standalone but the other’s are exceptional reads themselves. The book starts off with a bang or rather a plane crash followed by an avalanche. Vincent and Shea not only have to survive the elements but the bad guys that chase them from the wilds of Alaska to the mean streets of New York as they tried to stop the cadre of corrupt NYPD attempting to kill them. Are they working for Shea’s ex-husband or are they trying to silence Vincent?

Melinda Di Lorenzo’s installment has a wrongfully accused murdered who has been trying to find the man that killed his wife and stepson four years earlier. He finally has a lead when Keira literally crashed into his life. Deciding the doctor that saved her life wouldn’t have murdered the woman he loved Keira joins him in his quest to find justice.
