Synopsis

Brace yourself for the most electrifying, adrenaline-fueled mission yet with 'USS Lincoln — Mercy Kill' by Mark Wayne McGinnis. Caught in a deadly game of interstellar cat and mouse with a new and vile alien enemy, Captain Galvin Quintos will be forced to make choices no US Space Navy Captain should ever have to make — including who among those he cares most about should live or die. A cosmic storm is coming, one that has already decimated the long-lost crew of USS Lincoln. Has USS Adams already fallen into the same perilous trap, poised to succumb to the same fate? Has Doctor Vivian Leigh finally had enough uncertainty aboard a military warship? Is it time to bid farewell to a three-hundred-year-old ChronoBot friend? Put up the ‘Do Not Disturb' sign, grab a bag of popcorn, switch your phone to silent, and sink into that favorite chair of yours... you're in for a long night.

And when you're done with this book you don't want to miss ChronoBot Chronicles, and then... USS Franklin - When Worlds Collide - Book 8 in the USS Hamilton series.
Reviews: Superbly Written.
This is truly great work. All the suspense and horrors of war are here. The human reactions, emotions, and humanity all wound around what must be done. Just read it, and see for yourself. - SiFy Reader
Great Ending... or not? 5 Stars.
Fast-paced action. Was reading so fast my eyes were going crazy. Took 2 nights to finish. The bugs -- had nightmares about them. Gross things that they are. Disgusting creatures and more than amply described in detail. Thought I was reading a Stephen King novel. 3 Ships trying to get away from the Lipolids--the nasty creatures. Time running out. Will they be eating you next? You'll have to read for yourselves. It'll give you the willies, and then some. But who wins this war?
- Geraldine M.
LOVE THIS SERIES!
Each book brings new surprises. I'm a big fan. Love Military Sci-fi and space opera, and Mark Wayne McGinnis delivers every time. - Terrance F.

Page-Turner, for sure.
I finished this in one day. I typically read Alanson and Larson, but I love me some Mark Wayne McGinnis. He knows how to spin a yard, and then some. - Chip Klein

Extremely well written
Combat, people issues, morality mentioned, what a story. This series is so well done. A must-read for every space war reader. - SiFy Reader
I'm totally hooked!
I read the first book in this series because I needed a break from my usual SF fare involving a certain starship captain and his crew serving a large federation. But the balance of action and knee-slapping humor, not to mention the author's epic vision, has made me as devoted a fan to this universe as my previous haunt. I LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!! -

Keep 'em coming.
I would personally like to thank the author, Mark Wayne McGinnis. There are no doubt thousands, if not millions of authors on this platform, most just trying to slap together a book just to get it out as quickly as possible. Throughout the months and years, I've filtered out the good from the not-so-good. I like Craig Alanson, BV Larson, and Mark McWayne McGinnis. With Mark, I get irreverent humor, great story-telling, and multi-dimensional and flawed but likable characters. To all those who have not delved into the works of this great author, I urge you to dive in. And enjoy. - Paul J.
