Synopsis
Time Crime is a work of sci-fi and alternative history by H. Beam Piper. The Paratime Police, a law enforcement outfit from a parallel world has learned how to move amongst timelines. They jealously protect the secret, even as they mine other worlds for their resources. Notably, it seems humans are in fact Martian refugees who escaped a disaster on their home planet and travelled to Earth...!
