A young girl is brutally abducted by a grizzly in Colorado, forcing a group of scientists to try to mop up a genetic engineering operation on bears that has gotten out of control and become dangerous to any and all who enter the forest. But are the animals really dangerous for no reason at all or does their enhanced intelligence simply make them to recognize something ominous in human nature itself?
