Synopsis

Every one of us faces fear each day. What if our worst fears became our reality? And what if those fears gave us incredible power? Finn McClaren is an average college student, living a mediocre life until a series of nightmares change everything. Shot down in the streets, shoved off a skyscraper, and chased through a dark forest, Finn must face the decision to keep running his whole life, or fight back and live an existence better than the one he has. When he fights back, he wakes on a distant planet located on the other side of the galaxy in a role he never imagined he could play: that of the hero. The planet is enslaved by an evil emperor, and the people's only hope lies in a young man who never achieved anything on earth. Finn must fight his way through his greatest fears and a series of gladiator games before finally challenging the emperor himself, for a chance to give the people their freedom. And along the way, Finn faces his toughest fear of all: the fear of living an unremarkable life.
