Synopsis

In a rural town, an arrogant university professor finds himself wandering through the woods, his hands covered in blood,and his memories foggy. He encounters one of his female students, who is being pursued through the woods by one of the locals. Disdainful of the ignorant, superstitious "peasants" in town, professor and student discover something they have in common and form an instant bond before deciding to leave the small town together—until the law catches up with them.
