The whisper grew louder, repeating a phrase over and over in a language she didn’t understand.
An icy charge struck her as she turned slowly to find the hint of a sinister silhouette moving toward her through the fog. Déjà vu slammed into her like a brick wall as the familiar scene played out before her eyes. She stood paralyzed, waiting for the next moment. The one that had never arrived in her dream. A moment she was suddenly sure could be her last. Closing her eyes, she began to repeat the only words she could manage to form in her terrified mind. Help me. God. Where are you? I need you.
