An erotic short story by G R Richards with contemporary, gay and voyeur themes. When Pip answers an ad reading 'Young Man Wanted for Paid Position', he thinks he knows exactly what he's getting himself into. He would never have imagined the old recluse Havisham had trained his young heir Esteban to break the hearts of beautiful boys. Does Pip fall so hard for Esteban because of his gorgeous body, his callous insults, or is it all about the cold, hard cash?

‘My name is Philip,’ I said into the intercom. ‘I have an appointment at three.’
As I waited for some reply, I peered through the iron gates. A long driveway led up to the most desolate mansion I’d ever seen. Not that I had a lot of experience with mansions, but this one sure didn’t measure up to the manicured homes I’d passed along the way. With dead ivy scraping like death’s fingernails at its brick walls, it reminded me of an upscale version of Boo Radley’s house.
No response from the intercom.
Pressing the white plastic button on the old-school squawk box, I leant in close. ‘You ran an ad in the paper: Young Man Wanted for Paid Position ? I called for an appointment.’
‘Philip?’ a decrepit voice asked. There was shuffling in the background. He couldn’t seem to find the off switch, like even 30-year-old technology was too new for him to handle. ‘I have no record of any Philip.’
I called yesterday! We talked on the phone! ‘It might be under Pip,’ I said. I couldn’t remember which name I’d given. ‘Old family nickname I can’t seem to shake. It’s a long story; I won’t go into it.’
The intercom made a high-pitched squealing noise as the old man said, ‘Enter.’ I’m sure he was in there fumbling with buttons until he finally got the one that opened the gate. The gate squealed too.
Everything inside seemed ancient. The guy obviously had money if he lived in this huge house. . . .
