Wildfire engine driver Jill Conway-Jones loves driving the big engines, but her real goal is to get up close and personal with a fire, just like the Interagency Hotshots. She gets a little too close when a burning tree crashes onto her fire engine.
Hotshot Jess Monroe loves the fire's heat, but can't seem to find a woman who sparks his own. At least not until he arrives to rescue the driver of the shattered truck—just in time to watch her kick out the windshield.
