Dr. Fern Rycroft had disappointed the islanders once by not returning to work there, so she agreed to her aunt's wishes that she have an island wedding. But Fern hadn't anticipated two things—the actions of Lizzy Hurst, who adored Fern's fiancé and wanted to stop the wedding, and meeting the new doctor, Quinn Gallagher.
