Can enemies turn into lovers?
Feared as a demon because of his two different colored eyes, as well as for his outlandish actions, Highlander Onyx MacKeefe is known as a madman. While celebrating his birthday one cold night, he meets a bonnie Englishwoman searching for her father's killer. To his surprise, she accuses his mother and orders her guards to haul her away.
Lady Loveday de Lacy, known as Lovelle, comes to Scotland looking for not only her father's murderer, but also her mother's stolen Book of Hours. She is sure she's found the woman she seeks, but the woman's rugged son ends up taking her captive to secure his mother's fate.
